Music Sessions – here’s a list of informal music
sessions round the area – big thanks to Marilyn
Framrose for this

1st Sunday of every month playing session at the
Feathers at Hedley on the Hill 8.pm

1st Wednesday of every month session at the
Boathouse at Wylam 8pm

Every Thursday at the Crown in Catton mixed session
- singing and playing apart from 2nd Thursday which is
an Irish Session. (starts about 8.30)

3rd Thursday – the Tap and Spile, Hexham – Folk
Session

2nd and 4th Wednesday – the Tap and Spile, Hexham -
Jazz, Blues and Folk acoustic – songs and music

2nd and 4th Sundays of every month Barrasford
Arms, Barrasford 8 pm. (not on Christmas day though)

Every Friday night session at Greenside (above
Crawcrook) – we’ve never been but it’s supposed to be
very good.

Every Sunday lunchtime about one o’clock at the Tap
and Spile, Manchester Street, Morpeth.

If you fancy playing along with pipers (in F) it’s on the
1st Wednesday at the Bridge End in Ovingham (Chris
Ormston) 8.pm

3rd Wednesday at the Gun at Ridsdale (on the A68)
