Pop/Rock Vocal Workshop 6.30pm – 8.00pm

Why confine your singing to the shower?!?!

All ages and levels of experience welcome – no experience necessary.

Starting with confidence building exercises, learning correct warming up and singing techniques, solo pieces and group harmony.
Led by James McDonald BMus and meeting on a weekly basis in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. This is a great opportunity to have fun and be part of something special.

£5 per session – please note new starting time

Jazz Club. 7.00pm – 8.30pm

A weekly Jazz jam club for all abilities aimed at teaching jazz standards to prepare people for the Monthly Thursday night Jazz Club at the Queens Hall Exchange Cafe.

Thursday

“The Uketeers” 7.00pm -9.00pm

Formed at Core Music in Hexham, this band of enthusiastic ukulele players (of mixed ages) meet on a regular basis and perform around the region at various events playing anything from Rock and Roll to George Formby!

£2 per session

Friday

Ukulele Club (young improvers). 4.00pm – 4.45pm

with Ian Brown starts again September 9th.

A group for 8 to 10 year old children who have mastered the basics of ukulele in our Monday night club. Learn to play and sing a wide range of popular songs from the 1950′s to modern day hits.

Saturday

Free Acoustic Session. 12.00 – 2.00pm

A group for all abilities intended to be a fun and stress free environment for people to come and play, talk and generally have a relaxing Saturday afternoon playing some acoustic music in our reception area.

Jazz Jam. 2.00pm – 3.00pm

Our Saturday Jazz Jam is a fun group open to all abilities and instruments. Come along enjoy a wide range of styles from straight up jazz standards to funk and fusion.
